"Are you ready ______?" You friend (Best Friend's name) called.

"Just a second!" You called back. You looked at your reflection. Your (h/c) hair was neat and tidy, your face was clean and clear. You smiled at your reflection. Your reflection smirked back at you. Your (e/c) eyes were reflected as red, behind you had a part of small torn back wings. You ran your tongue along your teeth, chuckling as you reached your fangs. You were to put it bluntly a demon in disguise. You had left hell, fed up of just looking over tortured souls all day. You wanted something more from your existence. You could also feel yourself coming into heat. You didn't want any of the other demons. They were all the same, you wanted something better. There were rumours that an angel walked among the mortals here. And you had hope to track down said angel and make them your mate. You chuckled as if an angel was defiled by a demon. They would have to stay with them forever. It's like the ultimate loyalty. You turned away from your reflection, putting on your best innocent smile. Only reflections revealed your true self, so you were glad there weren't many around. You had taken up a few weeks working in a crèche. So you were looking after little mortals before they could care for themselves. It was a tiresome job as some of them ran everywhere and tried to eat things they shouldn't. But it seemed to be the best cover for someone wanting to take down an angel. Thankfully your friend had agreed to come with you to keep you company. You also owned a small flat which you were staying in. You had it so you didn't have to return home every night. In some ways, you enjoyed having your own space. You took a deep breath and walked through to the main room.

The creche room was a big hall, pale yellow walls and massive windows. Luckily for you they were rippled glass windows so your reflection didn't show up. You helped set out the large rugs and the copious amounts of toys. (BF) had gone to greet some of the parents as they brought their children in. You continued to set out beanbags and books. 'I wonder...' You thought. 'Am I ever going to find this angel?' There was so many different places they could be and you still didn't know if they were male or female. You hoped for a male, in heat... a female wouldn't do such a good job as you wanted young at some point. You looked over as the regulars came in, the boys quickly ran to the boxes of cars. The girls seemed a little more hesitant of what to do. As usual you greeted the with a smile and a hug. Some of them started to tell you what they had done since the last time they saw you. You smiled and nodded to them as they explained. As soon as they were done they ran off to play. You chuckled standing up. These little mortals knew nothing of the hardships life would bring. It's a pity mortals had to grow up. But then again, if they didn't you would have no one in hell.

"Hey ______! We have a new arrival!" (BF) shouted from the doorway. You turned round to see you best friend smirking behind the new parent a child. One thing struck you as you saw the pair. The little mortal was normal enough... shoulder length blond hair, big violet eyes, shaking knees and clinging onto a toy polar bear. He was hiding behind the oddity. The mortal who had brought him was male. Rather tall with similar blond hair, dazzling blue eyes and slight stubble on his chin. He smiled softly to you, looking down to the boy hiding behind him.

"Go on Matthieu." He nudged the trembling boy. "It's okay. I won't leave you here." He whispered to him. Matthieu shook his head and stepped further behind him, refusing to leave. You smiled and walked over to the pair.

"Hello my name is ______." You greeted him with a smile. "What is yours?"

"I'm Francis." He introduced himself. "And this little guy here." He patted the boy on the back. "Is Matthieu." You looked down to Matthieu, only his violet eyes were viable looking up at you. You smiled and crouched down to Matthieu's level.

"Hello Matthieu. I'm ______. Is this your first time here?" You asked. The small boy nodded. "Would you like to read some stories?" The boy nodded. You smiled to your friend. "You wanna take Matthieu over to the books?"

"Okay." They nodded. Little Matthieu looked up to them as they offered a hand. He looked up to Francis who nodded, patting his back reassuringly. He gingerly took your friends hand and walked over to the books. After the boy had gone you felt some sort of energy hit you like a wave. You looked to Francis confused for a moment, but something just over his shoulder caught your attention. In the reflection on the door, Francis had two massive snowy white wings beating behind him. Your eyes widened as you realised the angel you were looking for was standing right in front of you. You let a smile creep onto your face. This was going to be so easy.

"So Francis?" You asked slightly seductive tone. "What brings you hear?" Francis chuckled and brushed it off.

"I'm helping little Matthieu get a more normal life." He said softly. A more normal life? What could that mean? You looked over to Matthieu sitting down with a book. He seemed a lot more relaxed now. But what could be wrong with his life. He looked pretty ordinary.

"How is his life different?" You asked with uncertainty in your voice. Francis smiled to you.

"Little Matthieu is an orphan." Francis said quietly. "He has no parents."

"What happened to them?" You asked. He sighed.

"No one knows. He just turned up one day with that polar bear of his." Francis chuckled. "I've been taking him out to see the world around him. I'd adopt him if I could. He's such a nice boy." He said looking across in a caring way at Matthieu.

"Why can't you adopt?" You asked. Francis shook his head.

"Circumstances wouldn't let me." He said sadly. "But if they were different... I'd love to take him home."

"Is it some sort of work commitment?" You asked wanting to catch him out. Francis paused at the question and nodded.

"Oui. I have to work nights and I would hate to leave the boy alone. After all he's been through... I think it would be very unfair on him." You nodded along with it. Little mortals seemed to be very emotional not to mention clingy. You felt your stomach turn at the over sentimental love the angel had for the mortal. But if pretending to care about this mortal got that angel into your bed. You would bind your time and wait for the best moment. You didn't want to blow this opportunity.

"Are you going to become a regular here?" You asked, putting on a little charm. He smiled.

"If Matthieu likes it here. I think it would be nice for him to have something stable." He said. All of his actions were in the best interest of Matthieu. Maybe you could use this little mortal to get closer to him.

"Francis...You know tomorrow." You asked slightly rocking on your heels. "If you want I could treat you and... Matthieu to a lunch tomorrow." Francis' eyes lit up at the offer.

"I would love to." He smiled. "It will mean so much to little Matthieu."

"Cool." You smiled, your plan starting to work. If you just played this role long enough you would have him. But you had to take your time. You felt slightly disgusted at the idea, but it didn't seem that bad. Maybe some of that humanity stuff was wearing off on you. But once you had Francis. You never needed to worry of him leaving you.

As the group went on you kept a close eye on Francis, not really wishing to lose him. Your friend chuckled as she watched you stare across at him. You did spend some time talking to the rest of the parents there. You didn't care what these mortals really did, but it was polite and you had too impress Francis. You couldn't risk him getting suspicious, if he knew then your plan was blown. He would disappear as sudden as he came. You also watched little Matthieu play with the others. From looking at the blond, you would never of guessed what he'd been through. He, once he had settled in, was very confident and smily. He seemed a bit nervous at first but soon played with the other children. He kept hold of his toy polar bear at all times, like some would a comfort blanket. He did have moments when he would pause and look around like a meerkat. Looking round nervously, but he relaxed as his eyes found Francis. He seemed to be checking that Francis hadn't disappeared. After finding him he went back to playing. You called snack time as you and (BF) helped set it all up. You divided the fruit and biscuits into little bowls and set them out on a table. As you poured out the drinks the children all settled at the table... all but one. Matthieu sat away from the table looking nervously across at the other children. You gestured to your friend to keep an eye on the table as you took another bowl and drink over to Matthieu. He shuffled back as he saw you approach. You gave him the softest smile. Crouching down to his level, you held out the bowl to him. His violet eyes trembling slightly. He looked over your shoulder for Francis. Seeing Francis nod his eyes returned to you. He gulped and shuffled forwards taking the bowl and drink. As you passed it over, Matthews face lit up.

"M-M-Merci..." He stuttered, his voice was almost a whisper.

"That's okay Matthieu." You said softly. You jumped as you felt a hand rest on your shoulder. Looking over quickly you realised it was Francis.

"This is ______." Francis said softly. "She's going to take us out for lunch tomorrow." Matthieu smiled, nodding quickly. Putting the bowl down to the side with the drink. Before you knew what was happening a pair of tiny arms had wrapped themselves around you. Matthieu hugged you closely. You couldn't help but chuckle. It was adorable in all measures.

"That is a nice change." Francis said looking at the pair of you.

"How?" You asked hugging Matthieu. Francis chuckled.

"He's never hugged anyone apart from me. He's always scared of new people... but he seems to have warmed up to you quickly." Francis said. You looked back at Matthieu, some strange warm feeling was building inside of you. Part of you liked it, another part hit yourself for being weak. You were only in this for one thing and one thing only. To trap yourself an angel.
Well... another reader insert story!

I wanted to write a Francis creature story to go with the Arthur and Alfred stories. I also wanted to do a more dominant reader story, so you are the one hunting tonight/day >:D I also wanted to do something different with Francis character, so in this story he is an angel with only Matthieu's (Matthew's) interests at heart. And because Francis introduces him as the french version... that's his name otherwise it could get confusing.

I hope you like this new story. Read, Fav and Comment!
